Lynne Post

The daughter of an Army Warrant Officer, Lynne grew up living in towns close to White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico. After a tempestuous decade among the "flower children" in the 1970's, she married another former CWO, writer James Nathan Post, a Vietnam veteran helicopter pilot and entertainer. Though now divorced, they have two children, Nathan and Nieve, and two grandchildren. In 1986 she set out to become a professional massage therapist -- a decision which has been the focus and delight of her life since. In addition to her regular practice as Medicine Hand, she has also performed "stable calls" as an equestrian massage therapist, a skill she learned studying with Linda Tellington-Jones. Also a certified physical trainer, she now enjoys swimming and diving near her home on Maui.

Lynne is a past President of the New Mexico State Chapter of the American Massage Therapy Association, and past Vice President of the Nevada State Chapter. She was also a member of the prestigious AMTA National Sports Massage Team, which provided massage services to athletes competing in such events as the Olympic Games.

From 1990 through 1997, this was Lynne's clinic of Massage and Neuro-muscular Therapy, in Las Cruces, New Mexico. She worked two years in Las Vegas, Nevada, and is now building her new practice on the beautiful Hawaiian island of Maui.

She recently visited Thailand to study Massage, and has returned several times to immerse herself in the culture. Having so long loved horses, she was thrilled to be able to meet the elephants close up.

If you want to see and be seen, you go to the island of Oahu. If you are looking for some quiet time and privacy, you go to Maui. People on Maui respect that when they see faces they recognize, they know they have come for that privacy. As one of the insiders' little treasures on Maui, Lynne is an exceptional therapist who does not offer her clients' names as references. She does not operate a flashy clinic, nor employ a marketing specialist, but lives quietly on Maui because she loves that simple, private, and very spiritual life herself.

If you plan to be on Maui, you might like to call and make an appointment with her while you are there. Here is her phone number.
